is it a worm???

just the other day on tank inspection I noticed behind my rock on the back glass something that looked like a long white long intestine for lack of a better description. Super small though ( thin) and more or less looked like a stacked series of figure 8's... maybe if you stretched it out it would be 5 in. ?? A first I thought maybe it was eggs from my clowns, but then I noticed a few days later that it moves.... two days later... about 5 inches over. Any ideas?? I can post pics if i can find it again...

i believe you are correct aerowen... i caught one of my ceriths chillin' and laying a fresh batch this morning. So , lets say there is maybe a few hundred eggs there?? what's the survival rate?
