i have 5 hermits already and noticing the brown algae, can i get a few snails and a shrimp to put in my main tank.

You should be good to go with additional cleaners -- a few snails and a shrimp sound fine. I'm assuming that you're past the end of your initial cycle and that ammonia and nitrites have been 0 for a few days. Also, if you haven't done it, a partial water change would be good now.

yes and i did 10 water change and what do i do, float bag for 20mins and then drip for an hour. I would like to get a coral banded shrimp do i need to feed them.

Sounds like your ready to add some more. Float the bag and drip for abot an hour. You should feed your shrimp a bit of fish food (flake or pellet) every day or every other day.

as of last saturday, i changed out some water with SW to try and bring my saleen up last night.

However i would like some info about this float bag and drip. Not sure what your talking about.

You float the bag with your new fish/critters in it in the aquarium to equalize the temperature slowly. You drip water from your aquarium through airline tubing or something similar into the bag to acclimate your critters to the new aquarium water slowly -- the water they came from will never be the same as the water in your tank -- adjusting to the different specific gravity and pH needs to be done slowly.
