Is it too much food?

Well my little pair of clown are always looking for food,

is 1in square flake too much for 1 day if I feed them in 3-4 time a day?

basicly I feed them 1/4" piece crushed really fine, turn off the pump and dump it in. They eat 90-95% of it in 2 minutes.

Also I got 5 nass. snail. How the hell do they know I drop food, they just all pop out of the sand and seek for left over lol.

i just find a nice amount that the fish can eat all of it (or 90% of it that does not fall to the ground) in a relatively short time period...i feed that once a day. But i dont feed flake anymore.

But the nassarius snails wont live on flake i dont think. Mine never touch it, and besides, they're a meat eating sort of snail (they eat dead/decaying things).

And i believe they can smell the food...i think thats what that long trunk thing does.

Well they are pretty small 1"-1.5" and if the flake is not less than 1/8" square, they spit it out.

At least they will be fat :)

My nassarius does eat the flake, as does my Yellow pollyps.

Always use the no more then 3-4 min method , also i use a pellet with garlic everyother morning and mixed frozen everynight maybe skipping 1 night once in awile. Scavaging is good for your tank , helps keep it cleaner and overfeeding creats higher amonia levels do to more waste which eguals more water changes.GL:)
