is lightning enough to bring up the blue in the sps ?

It kind of depends on the type of SPS, the color of the bulb, and the depth of your tank or where you place the corals.

For instance, I'm running 2X250W DE XM bulbs that are 15,000K in LumenMax Elites Reflectors in my 60 gallon... and they bring out blues in my blue/purple corals... Acro Tenuis, Tricolor Bali, Blue Milli, Pink Formosa w/blue tips, Hawkins Echinata, Blue Oregon Tort...

I think if you go at a lower Kelvin (i.e., 10,000K), then you'll have less luck with the corals coloring up.

Well, I've never tried 12,000K myself, so I'm not sure... but worst case, since you seem to already have the lighting set-up, get a blue SPS coral and see what happens. If it doesn't retain its colors, then the next time you switch out your bulbs, just replace them with 14,000K or 15,000K...
