Is my 10 gallon QT tank too small?

The largest QT tank I could set up is 10g unfortunately. Is this big enough for fish that can live in a 45 gallon?

I'm planning on adding a wrasse and that's my main concern. Even if it's not fully grown, adding one to a 10 gallon seems... wrong. Has anyone done this without problem? Or will I have to just either risk adding it directly or forgo owning a wrasse?

I have used 10 gal tank as QT for several fish at the same time, but you really have to watch the water parameters.

Here is the list at the time it was at my max:

juvenile Blue Tang
pair of juvenile Percula clowns
Cardinal
Flame Angel

That said, I would not recommend it. No room for error and not the best for the fish.

For 1-2 small species would be fine.

Shouldn't be a problem. You can use a bubble/sponge filter and have Prime handy and use something like BIO-Spira if you don't have available bio-media. Even then I'd still use it though.

Great, thank you!
