Is my Acropora dead?

Hello,
I received a purple acropora (item # CN-88351) about 8 days ago. It is kind of a whitish-yellow color ever since being in the tank and I haven't noticed any polyp extension. This is my first Acropora so I'm not sure if it is alive or not. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
