Is my anemone dead?

I have one that got stuck in a powerhead, turned off the powerhead and he pulled himself out. He has looked like crap, but still ate and seemed ok. Well I just moved tanks from a 55G to a 125G and he looks even worse now. But he is still stuck to a rock, and seems to have moved 5" over night. He is completely closed though.... is he dead?

I'm 50/50 on this as I had 2 that did that and one died and one lived and died from something else. Found out it was because my tank was not established long enough yet.

I think they have a better life expectancy with older water as with Korila the blades are right up near the casing.

Still alive.
It seemed to move 5",well that right there shows it's still alive.
What kind of an anenome is this?If it's a condylactis they're pretty tough.

Yea it is a condylactis. It just has only 5-6 "things" (legs arm's whatever their called) left. The rest have shriveled up into nothing....

If the foot didn't get damaged, then there is a good chance it will survive. If the foot is damaged then keep a close eye on it, if it dies it can wreak havoc on your tank.
