So, two days ago i saw my rock flower anemone moving from it's spot. it has been in the same spot for months. It was encrusted to the bottom of a rock and the sand so i was surprised it was moving. Yesterday it moved halfway up and the was nearly closed all day and it looked like it has little strings hanging on it but I couldn't really tell. Today i got up and it was moved even further on the rock and closed, but his foot was attached and strong so i left him. However it's tenticles were fuzzy looking and had stringy stuff around them. i just checked on him before bed and he's moved again and left a trail of the stringy stuff behind.
What is going on? I do know my Alk dropped to 7.9 the other day because I got super sick and couldn't tend to my tank, but it's up now and nobody else in the tank is showing distress so i'm not sure.
Tried to get pics but it was really hard where it was, and with my algae problem I decided against it. I'm battling it the best I can, and nobody else seems to be upset at the moment.
