Is my anemone going to die?

Soooo my anemone just became a victim of a rock slide and has a rip in his foot. its about a half inch around but its right where his mouth would be if it extended all the way down through the foot. my question is, can he make it? ive heard stories that a rip in the foot = death. but what i dont get is that when they split they are doing exactly that... ripping their foot.
so does it have a chance to live?

should i pull it out now?
anything i should put in the tank to help it?
anything i should stop putting in?
i put in reef snow once a week and clamfest every couple days .
I do not have a quarantine tank. Any advice or suggestions would be great.

Really hard to tell from that picture. However, BTAs are pretty tough, so I would leave it for now, and see what happens. But, with the size of your tank (( assuming your sig is correct )), keep a close eye on it.

I had on get sucked into a powerhead and it got torn up pretty bad. After about 2 weeks it looked as good as new. Hopefully yours will be the same. Good luck.

Don't worry about it. You can cut them in half and it will heal competly in two weeks and you can do it again. A little tear is nothing to them.
