Is my Anemone splitting? [pics]

So my anemone has been looking pretty weird lately. He stays puffed up most of the time like in the picture below...but then he also shrinks down about 2 times a day. And this time he looked a little strange. Anyone have any info on this behavior / appearance?

It could be but usually when E. Quadricolor's (BTA) split they attach half their foot on to one rock and the other half on to other rock. Then, the process of splitting becomes a stretching effect and becomes two. How does it look now?
