Is my clam Hyperextending??

I dont know what it looks like so what do you think? He is other wise happy and the growth you see is from about 3 weeks. The water flows goes across him and I thought thats what was making it look like he was extending.

looks like a deresa, they are pretty forgiving clams. i do not think it is hyper extending, how deep is your tank and do your t5s have individual parabolic reflectors?

looks great, does he have that blue trim around his incurrent siphon as well??

a4twenty-yes he does have the blue around the siphon as well

ezcompany- the lights do have individual reflectors. The unit is 6ft long and sits right on top of the tank. It has 14 bulbs(39watts each), and the tank is 24in deep with a 4in sand bed.

my derasa is like that too and it has chosen to move to a more shaded area itself
