I have a Condi that has been doing GREAT for over a month now. It is rather large with it tentacles probobly about 5". It has a nice purple-ish color. Base of it is a bright orange. It eat,s it moves around pretty frequently...but in the same 5 or 6" area.

Today I came home and looked at it and its base is still a bright orange but its tentacles are maybe 3/4" Long and look kind of like defalted balloons. They are even a much darker purple (kind of like a ballon is darker deflated, not like it changed colors) The tentacles do still move under their own power but not as wildly as they should. What I could see of its mouth it looked decent also.

My parameters and temp is all good. The only recent change to the tank was the addition of a keyhole angel about a week ago, and yesterday I removed a small maxima clam before the angle completely killed it.

Nothing has been in/around/near the tank that could contaminate it. I have a big toadstool that is fine, a combo rock of coral that is fine, and a torch coral that is also fine.

Any ideas.

Side note, ...The past 2 or 3 days my pair of clowns have been hanging out at the top of the tank behind my spray bar but I have attributed that to possibly being displaced by the new angel. They are swimming, breathing, and eating fine.

I have 3 Condi's and this happens regularly, especially after they feed heavily and "dump".
IMHO it is not due to the new additions, nothing to fret about! ;)

mine do this almost once a day it's how they flush or dump themselves out. usually u will see brown slime streaming around them when they do it. also sometimes they do this at night . from what i have read it's only bad if they do it continuously for 3 or 4 days straight
