is my feather duster gonna die if it comes out of its tube?

so i was trying to move it... and i pulled the tube out of the feather duster... is it going to die because it doesnt have a tube now?

Leave the tube next to the worm. It *might* go back. If you have hermits or shrimp or other predators, you need to protect the worm from them. You can make a box out of plastic canvas, or use a plastic berry basket, if the spaces are small enough that the crabs/shrimp can't get between them.
