ok my mantis is so nice.. i can pick him up and he will eat out of my hand. he lives with three crabs and two snails. he never bothers them at all. he is a smasher. what is wrong with him????

My G.glaborus leaves stuff alone. I finally removed a hitchhiker crab I had been waiting for him to obliterate. Squirtle just served it eviction papers and moved into its lair. He also has a trio of Peppermint shrimp that are in the tank. He may not know about them though becaue they spend their days behind the skimmer, and once when I flushed one out he made an attempt on its life.
Plus I have always hand fed mantis, and they are far from dumb creatuers so i would guess he has you all figured out. If he will pearch on your hand you are probably going to feed him more often, just to see him doing that trick. Youo may want to get a coller with a tag that reads "Mantis's human".

it is just so strange. they are suppose to be so mean and evil yet mine is such a sweetie
