Is my nem in trouble ?

About two months ago I fed my Nem a small piece of squid and just when it was about to consume it, my crazy Wrasse ripped it out of it's tentacles. From that time on, it has only been opening up halfway and not full like before. The side where the Wrasse ripped the food out doesn't open as much. The good open side will even bubble the tips, but not spread fully open. It still eats well, but i'm worried about that half. Will it stay that way forever,is it going to die off slowly ?

What are your water parameters and what kind of lighting do you have? Also what is the flow like where it is?

I've had nems really bleach from poor water, bad old lighting and when in better conditions colored right back up after two weeks or so. Hope yours does ok!
