Here'a little background.
I purchased 2 female pictilis about 9 weeks ago. They spent 7 weeks in QT where they were eating and seemed healthy. I didn't treat with copper (they didn't show any signs of needing copper) but I did to 2 treatments with Prazipro. The last 2 week of QT, I brought the salinity in the QT tank up to match my DT. On the day of the transfer, I place the 2 specimens in an acclimation box with some PVC to give them a place to hide. There was a little aggression from some of the established fish but none got through the acclimation box.
They spent about a day and a half in the acclimation box and then were release about 2 hours before the lights went off (only Dawn/Dusk light were on). For the next couple of days they would come out for a quick bit but then darted back into the rocks. I would shoot food into the rocks where they were hiding. 4 days later, only 1 of the fish would come out and I haven't seen the other since.
