as you can see, he does this every night for the past 2 weeks or more. he doesnt look normal or healthy. i dont think he is infected with bacteria as i suspect if he is, he would die already no?

not sure if i should wait more or pull him out and treat with Cipro. could he be infected with bacteria and still live for 2 weeks with infection without treatment? he is securely attached to the bottom of the tank with 3-4" sand.

had him for 2-3 years. tank para all good. other red carpet is good health and normal
 
I have a haddoni that has done the same but it became permanent. I have a thread on here detailing. I got my water quality back in line but not luck. It's been small and had its mouth out for a while now. Not that this helps, just saying I have seen this
 
Thanks man i will keep an eye on it hope it will do better. It doesnt inflate deflate so i am holding off treatment.
