Is my Reidi pregnant? See photo

Hi just wondering, I have a male seahorse and 2 females all Reidi in my tank. The male has sudenly grown a large abdomen in the area I would exspect to see when pregnant (see photo). However I am new to seahorse keeping and only had these 3 weeks so some expert advice would be much appriciated.

Its tough to say. Seahorses can puff up their pouches to look sexy to the girls. So I don't know if anyone can give you a good answer. I'd keep an eye on him and see if it appears to get bigger. Another thing to watch for is more reclusive behavior from the male.

cheers for the reply. He is quite active at the front of the tank and still eating the high protein mysis. It looks a relitivly small pouch conpared to ones ive seen online.
