Is my rose dying or splitting?

It looks pretty small and it's getting roughed up by your clown. Can you separate them?

Its usually huge between a baseball softball size. The clown has been living in him ever since he was placed in the tank and is super protective over the rose even when i try to feed the rose. He is shrunken in on this picture.

Mine shrink like that too. The gaping mouth would have me worried. I would keep a close eye on it. I wish I had some pics of mine when it split. But it did so at night and I had no clue it was about to split.

Ya im worried i got a super good deal on it but i still dont want to lose him. Hopefully it is a split. Could my cinnamon be hurting him in anyway? I thought they had a sembiotic relationship?

Yes they can "love them to death" very common but usually only affects small nems.

It just started looking like that last night now it looks normal and better again. Idk its weird and i dont want it to poison everything i have. I have had him for about a month

They love stable temp, alk and PH. They like PH in higher ranges. Is it stayin in same spot or walking

Same spot and has been in the same spot since i got him
