Is my starfish ok?

I noticed this with my starfish a few days ago:

They looked like wounds but the this was today:

The location of the wounds seems to convenient. Is this thing ok?

How long have you had it? What's in the tank with it? What's your tank parameters? How old is the tank?

I've had it for a week? Tank params are in line. Tank has been running for over a year and I drip acclimated this thing for like an hour.

I also bought a regular red fromia star at the same time and introduced him the same way and it's doing just peachy keen. I got them from the same lfs.
