Is my tank overstocked?

Hey everyone. I have a 3 month old 133 gallon aquarium with a 30 gallon sump. Plan to turn the tank into a mixed reef tank with both SPS and LPS(currently have some ricordeas, mushrooms, leather coral, scolymia, zoas). My stocking list is the following (many of these fish come from a prior tank transer)

4" sargassum trigger
4" chevron tang
3" regal angel
3" black ocellaris
2" sixline wrasse
3" royal gramma
3" flame angel
2x blue reef chromis

I was considering possibly adding a midas blenny and/or borbonius anthias but was also worried that I might be overstocking the tank. Please let me know what you think about the stocking of the tank. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

yes, I would not add anything and might consider removing...also, 6 lines can become real pitas and torment fish...I also never trust a trigger so the chromis/gramma could have some troubles ahead...sorry, just my 2 cents...but good luck and hope it all works out...

I think you're OK, but I wouldn't add anymore fish. However, I think that Regal may take a liking to any fleshy LPS you put in there. Sometimes you can get lucky though.

BTW, what are the dimensions of a 133 gal??

My sargassum trigger is about 8" and would gladly eat your smaller fish. They are fairly civilized for a trigger; but all triggers are predators. Sargassums often live along floating offshore sargassum weedlines and will scarf any fish/invert that emerges. He's probably ok now, when he grows, he'll turn into a real, live trigger. Gorgeous fish, one of my favorites.

Solid advice...

I would like to add to this "Is my tank overstocked..." I have a 75 gal reef tank with:

1 Starry Blenny - Adult
1 LaMark's Angel - Juv. about 2 inches
1 Yellow Coris Wrasse
1 Matted File Fish (temporary)
2x black percula clowns

suggestions?

Very nice fish Salty, I've always wanted a Chevron Tang, but only a Juv :)

Please start your own thread; multiple Q&As on the same thread can really get confusing.

Wow, talk about bad luck. Woke up this morning and the sargassum trigger decided to go carpet surfing....Definitely bummed about it....

IMO, a 4' tank is too small for a regal angel and sargassum trigger. They really both need a 6' tank to have enough space.
