Is my tank safe for fish

I have done a lot of research on ich. I had a 50 gallon running and I never used to quaratine my fish. I bought a butterfly and then I had 5 of my fish die within about 3 weeks of getting the butterfly (coral beauty, auriga butterfly, 2 clowns, yellow tang). My orange spotted goby never even showed any signs of ich at all. So I set up my 125 gallon last week and I put every piece of live rock, a couple corals, all the crabs, snails, and about a gallon of my old sand and also my healthy orange spotted goby. So I am assuming my new tank has ich in it. Am I correct? Do you think the ich will multiply with the goby being in there? He doesnt seem to have anything wrong with him. I am thinking that I have to keep him in a seperate tank and treat him for it and let the tank sit for a while before putting fish in it. But I really do not want to go through that trouble. Do you think I would be screwed if I put fish in there?

The goby can carry the disease.

If you want your new tank to be Marine Ich (Cryptocaryon irritans) free, then you need to remove ALL fish (e.g., goby) from the 125 and let that tank go fishless for no less than 6 more weeks.

While the fish are out, treat the fish for Marine Ich separately.

Quite often, the safest way isn't the easy way.
