Is my Torch Coral neurotic or just unhappy??

So I've had my first Torch for about 2-months now, and throughout the day, usually 2x's, 1 or 2 of the 6-heads will completely retract for ~30 minutes or so. The timing and specific heads which close appear to be random, although *I think* it's usually the left side or bottom ones. The other 4-5 heads will be out and fully extended.

It is located about 3" away from a Hammer, and off to one end of my tank where it receives mostly indirect flow from a PH which is a foot behind and above it. It is also in a darker area of the tank-see FTS shot below-torch is off all of the way on far left side.

Is this behavior indicative of unhappiness with location, and if so should I try and move it? Thanks! John

My torch does it randomly too. Bought it as 4 heads, at least 3 of the heads are in the process of splitting. So I assume its just a random thing. Sometimes I notice a snail around when it happens, sometimes a snail is around and they are all out. Could be pooping? I've seen it pull way in when that is happening too.

My Euphyllia's do that all the time and I suspect its from fish hitting them or possible nipping.
