Is not having RODI water causing this issue

Hi Agein over the past month or so in my brand new reef tank I've had a 3-4 Zoa frags die and my old frogspawn from my old tank has not opened up at all sense I've moved it into my new tank. Right now I use kordon plus to get rid if all the bad stuff in tap water, my ammonias are at .25-.50 and nitrates and nitrites are at 0. My KH is at 12 my calcium was at 380 but I dosed the tank to raise the levels and all my fish are doing fine. Even tho my zoas are pretty low in the tank I'm confident that my 2 lighting fixtures that equal 330 watts all together can support them that low, I dip all my corals in rivive before they go in and I am just soooooo confused on how They are still dieing and ideas

Coral wise I also have. Duncan coral that has grown like wild fire ever since I moved it, green and red war coral who is doing good, fungia plate, green toad stool, mushrooms, GSP, green eye SPS cup coral and candy canes that are all doing great it's just mostly my zoas and frogspawn:((((

I would propose that not using rodi is always bad for a reef...tap water just has too much extra in it. That being said, there's no way to know from what you said if that's the issue. Is your ammonia always up? What's your pH, temp?
