is Ozone Generators worth the effort?

Which ozotech unit would you purchase for a system that is a 140g total now, that will be upgraded to a 180g total next year ? Also, which ORP Controller do you guys recommend and how do you inject the ozone into the water, via the skimmer?

I would use the Poseidon PO3 and for a controller I would use ORP pinpoint controller you can email them at sales@ozotech.com and let them know what your system is and what you would like and they will set u up with what should work. But I think the PO3 is the way they would go.

While many people use them, using a skimmer is not usually the best way to deliver ozone, IMO, because the contact time is too short, flow rate is too high, and it is hard to pass all that water over carbon effectively. I discuss ozone reactors and other issues in the above articles.

I trust Randy's in-depth knowledge...and I can say that my Red Sea makes a visible difference in water clarity in my tank. However, I don't have cats to worry about and the coroner will be impressed indeed.
