Is RC turning into Facebook?!

I think I just accidentally spammed everyone on my contact list to be a friend (I thought I was confirming my contacts in the upgraded software...).

You're definitely special Gary! I thought it was a bit strange too to be getting a friend request on RC (that's what led me to the page; I think it was you Eddie ).

Not to say that all the people getting messages aren't friends--quite the opposite!

Yeah, I think it is becoming more like FB or at least more social I guess. With that being said, the mods may take a closer look at this thread since it is not directly related to reef keeping and mentions another site. So did the friends thing replace the buddies list? What makes that different than the contacts list?
