Is TBS package good for existing tank?

I have 55 gal tank with sand, rock and fish. I'm not sure how much of rock I have, probably 20-50 lb. It's live rock from local store (does not look like live in comparison to TBS rock).
I have 2 clowns, 5 demsels, 1 gobi, about 20 blue leg, 10-15 skarlet, 10-15 turbo snails.
I was thinking to buy 20 gal package from TBS and add it to the tank. Is it a bad idea? Any special things to do in comarison to starting new tank?

Thanks.

you could, and the thing to do would be to have water mixed and ready to go in a seperate tank or rubbermaid container with a power head, heater, and preferably a skimmer. let it cycle there, doing water changes as needed to preserve whatever life is on the rock. some light on a limited cycle would be good too i'd think. once your levels are good, then you would add the rock to your established tank.

Just a word of warning. My TBS rock came with a LOT of hitchhikers - including, at least a dozen gorilla crabs and 3 mantis, all of which I am currently trying to trap. For me, it's a new tank that I am cycling, so I was willing to take the hit on these things in order to get the good rock. It is amazing rock, and Richard is awesome. My suggestion would be, if you order it for an established tank, take your time to get the bad critters out first if you are worried about it.
