I'd love to get one of these but are they safe and will they eat my cleaner shrimp? or snails or hermits( my camel can die) personal exprience would be awesome

i have never kept the pinktail trigger but i hvae kept a blue throat and a niger trigger and i would say the shrimp are most certainly lunch. if you get a small one and feed well snails and crabs are less likely but shrimp WILL be eaten

No immunity on that island. They say that they are planktivores like the blue jaw, sargassum, etc but there is always the chance that your inverts may become lunch.

So for me in general for the sake of a cleaner shrimp, hermits, corals adn fish is the pinktailed trigger going to be a problem yes or no

Saying all triggers will eat shrimp is like saying all reefers smoke crack. I have a niger in my tank with a pair of cleaner shrimp and they have been fine together for a while. The niger gets cleaned by them on a daily basis. I also know numerous people who have kept blue jaw triggers with cleaners with no problems.

However, each fish is different. You can't predict what is going to happen. The only way to find out is to try it.
