In my experience, if you feed GBA then they tend to not bubble up reaching for food. I also think lighting has something to do with it. Under 150W MH mine did not bubble up but under 96W T5 they do. It might be spectrum.
Either way don't get to caught up in whether the nem bubbles up or not. Watch for signs the nem is healthy. If it moves around a lot and is getting smaller then it isn't happy and slowly dying.
I have a RBTA and it was long and stringy until I changed my T5 lamps from current to a combination of ATI lamps which changed the spectrum but also probably doubled the par.
I have never fed this anemone and it is a beautiful deep red and continues to split about every 10 months.
I have an RBTA that definitely bubbles up more after a piece of table shrimp, it usually gets fed about every 2 weeks and is more bulbous for a few days.
