Is this a brain?

So I was able to snag this thing locally as "3 heads of unidentified" .. it looked cool and I knew I wanted it and only had to pay $20. I can't quite place my finger on exactly what it is. Thinking of some kind of lobo or .. i don't know.

It is growing out of a stalk the way a non-branching frog or torch would but its heads are funky - here's the best pics I could get
