Hey I've just purchased some live rock and i am pretty sure i have the beast of the depths in my tank, i managed to use soda to get 5 our of a rock but still have tiny ones left, are these eunicid worms? should i be worried?

Second question this is a 46L or 12 gallon tank, with a 2 inch sand bed, if i add some more sand (to achieve 4 inches) is it suitable to have a yellow watchman Goby and pistol shrimp pair or is my tank way to small ? I only plan to have a total of three fish.

That sure looks like a eunicid. If you got 5 out of a rock in a 12g tank, I would be looking to replace the rock!

Thank you, i feared taking it back and starting all over again but there are so many i mean counted over 15 i will have to start the tank all over again and they are in my sand bed now.

yes good choice u don't wanna stock ur tank just to find it infested with those things. Just start over fresh sand too.. since its a smaller tank.

Ok so I've decided to take the rock back and completely start again and get new Rock to start the process all over again, sorry but back to the second park of my question, could I house a yellow watchman goby with a pistol shrimp in this tank ?

Yes you can easily have the watchman and shrimp. Sand depth doesn't need to be 4 inches. My watchman has thrived in a 4 gallon tank for 3 years with a 1 inch sand bed. They are great nano fish IMO.

I took the rocks out and used soda water to flush them out, it also killed what seems like all of them and the bristle worms inside the rock

Yeah I saw some in my sand, after doing the wash I had a huge ammonia spike that seemed to kill them, the tank is new and cycling so I am not to worried
