So this bta is at my lfs waiting for me. I don't think I have seen a white tipped bta before so I don'tknow much about it. The store told me it is from vietnam if that helps any of the experts on here. I am going to buy it any ways as I like the way it looks I was just wondering if it is worth more than asking.

im not 100% sure about white tips but, u might want to leave it there another week to make sure its not bleaching

thats not bad how big are they from the picture they appear to be 2"-3"

Thats a fair assumption. Now the last green one I got from them was about that size but when it settled into my home aquariumit was almnost 6" across so I am hoping this one does it as well.

I also don't think it will bleach as I saw a similar one this morning on the internet when I was looking for pictures of one.

White tipped BTAs are a little on the rare side. Not rare enough to demand premium prices. It has nothing to do with bleaching. The anemone in the picture looks very healthy and has plenty of zooxanthellae.

I have seen white tipped RBTAs that looked really cool. Unfortunately, most of the white tips are deep brown like the one you have pictured.

I know it will look different under my 250 mh.At the store they have it under t8s I think.

I am not getting the one with thepurple tips because I already have one like it.

I would purchase the white tipped and see what happens after it is settled in your tank. Post pictures if you do purchase it later on please

Ok so I brought the nem home tonight and it looks great. The white tips glow under my halides. The foot is red and the area around the mouth is a deep purple. I will try and get some pics tomorrow night when I am done work.

Ok you guys convinced me lol. I snapped a quick picture of my nem. I really should of got out my tripod and wiped my glass but I don't have time for that right now.
Anyways here it is. You can sort of see the purple in it.
