Is this a flower Anemone?

Pink strings when pushed on ???

This anemone has pink strings that come out when its closed up, if it gets touched by something. The more you push it the more that come out.. Any idea what type this is .. Should I be keeping it in my tank.. Not that I could get it off the rock its on right now anyways....

It looks more like an Aiptashia.........If it is you need to kill it now!

This is almost flat and moves by sliding, no floating. I have a few aiptasia but they look nothing at all like this. I still have not gotten any responses from the wise gurus on this site.. Is it just that no one knows..

I really don't think it is an aptasia anemone. I'm not sure about the pink string things, but it does seem to look like a flower anemone.

its tenicles look like aptasia to me but theres to many of them. how big is it?

its about 3-4" wide, it is flat and has no (stalk, it that is appropriate). it dose not hide in rock it sits on top and closes, if provoked it spits out these pink strings.. I do have a side view pick i will post next

where did it come from?? was it a hitchhiker?? where was the rock it may have came on from?? its not an aiptasia, the foot on that anemone is crazy..

It came from rocky point mexico on the back of a large hermit crab. I did not know is was there till it opened up in my tank .. there are actually 2 of them .. the other is still on a herit crab shell..

Its been in my tank approx 4+ months.. It likes silver sides..

Had this anemone on the back of a few decorator crabs years back. Size was more like 1/2-3/4" inch range. Pink strings and all! No idea what it is and never seen one that big.
