I suspect it is, but wants to confirm with the pros! It is in a 30g under 196w of PC at the moment, but in a month or so it will go in a much, much larger tank with MH.

No. Gigas are the largest of the Tridacnas. That's a Crocea...the smallest. Get it under MH ASAP! It will not appreciate being under PCs.

Croceas have some of the most stringent lighting requirements of all of the clams, and you'd definitely be well served to get it under better lighting ASAP

I kept Croceas under the same lighting requirements in the past with ill effects in a 30 gallon tank as well. If is doing fine then there is no need to fix things.
