Is this a harmless ispod from the sphaeromatidae family?

I saw this isopod on my aquarium's glass and wondering if I correctly identified it as being an isopod from the sphaeromatidae family (I hope harmless)?

Looks like a chiton to me.

Thank you so much Sugar Magnolia, I hope chitons are good lol, this one is only twice as big as a copepod... so it's a larvae?

No, just a chiton. There are many species all with different sizes.
