Is this a new pest?

On two of my corals I see small pepper marks. They do not move but appear under the surface of the sps.
Has anyone noticed the same?
There literally are the size of a pepper flake and black and there are about 1/2 dozen spread out.

The pe is not as pronounced as before but it could be something else that is making that occur.
