Is this a pest? Tube snail?

Hi

I saw this tube cast out what appears to be a web onto the adjacent soft coral, or the coral was shedding a skin and the tube was sucking it up. It seems stationary on this rock. Any idea what it is and should I be concern? The tube is about 3-4 mm in diameter. Thanks!

I recently looked into it . Best I can find as a remedy is, keep them controlled early by either supergluing them right away ,snapping them off, and bumble bee snails .

Looks like a vermetid snail to me. I second what Sk8r said - they're prolific in my tank but don't seem to bother any of my corals.
