Is this a purple bonsai?

I dunno what it is. I was told maybe purple bonsai or tri-color. I just know it is a stick that actually survived in my tank...lol.

A friend had too many business trips and couldn't maintain the tank anymore and our LFS assisted with the tank breakdown (yes - i love that LFS). Anyways the LFS didn't know any lineage on the corals and I just thought the purple with the green polyps was nice.

I dunno what it is - but was wondering if anyone here could assist.

here's the original frag, originally on a disc which I broke off and glued to the LR.

Very nice, could be anything but is probably an A. Valida, which if I'm not mistaken is what the bonsais are.

there are a couple different bonsai's out there, and yours certainly looks like one. You have a nice specimen too w/ a dark purple base. I wish my bonsai colored up like yours.
