not too be a downer, but repeated splitting (to that degree) sounds like something is amiss with your parameters. but before you tell me everything is perfect, consider alleopathy (sp) from other cnidarians in the tank could be causing chemical stress. I certainly wouldn't move any of the clones, but try having someone else test your SG, nitrates and see if your test instruments are not calibrated (I had a hydrometer get off and would read 1.025 as 1.028!!) Splitting of BTA's is a form of self preservation. Usually. Hope you're just lucky!
