Is this a sponge

Hi all,
I have this growing inh several areas of my tank. The tank is just one year old. The growth is clear in color. Can you tell me if it is a sponge?

That is a calcareous sponge.
They are typically clear, white, or yellow in color.
Easy to care for, and a pleasant live rock suprise!
I do not recall the genus, but they are listed in "The Reef Aquarium" by Sprung and Delbeek, as well as "The Modern Reef Aquarium" by Fossa and Nilsen.
