Is this bad?

I looked at a montipora I bought 2 weeks ago and I saw a clear stringy substance coming off of it. I have 0 Ammonia, 0 Nitrite, 10 Nitrate, 420 Calcium, 9 Alk, 8.1 pH, and 1.024 SG.

Look up vermetid snails as this could be what your seeing. Also look up coral's mesenterial filament's and yeah a picture would help.
