I need suggestion on this brain coral, I dont know if its suppose to be brown color in this one or should have more color cuz I had it for like almost 1 year now, been into my different tanks and always has these brown color in it. Is this what it suppose to be or its lacking light or too strong light? Its in my Red sea 250 with 6 T5 bulbs sitting on the bottom of the sand. I had tried feeding also get high nitrate or very low nutrient in my system in both ways, seems doesnt help with the color at all.

it doesnt look bleached, but it doesnt look happy either, it should be very puffy and full of water. does it ever puff out? when you attempt to feed it, does it extend its feeder tenacles?

oh yea, this is just a old pic i found, right now its alwys puffed out. But rarely see any tentacles out, only when I just spray some oyster,I will see some reactions. other than oyster feast, I havent feed this guy for like 6months with any shrimp as it dont trap food.

So the brown color is suppose to be like that u think?
