is this Bryopsis algea? id please

Alright will see if I can find one. I ordered the Kent MG in order to fight what I though were bryopsis algea

Some type of hair algea. Not sure what type. Bryopsis is more feathery. Sorry to hear about your battle with it.

thank you, guess thats why the kent tech m, dosent do much to it. At least i now got mg supplements for the next year :)

i will try with more algea greaseres. For some reason this algea sucks out all nutrience from the aquarium, and leaves my corals starving.

I have something similar in my tank. Have you tried dosing hydrogen peroxide? I've had good luck making it go away over 7 days but comes back after about a month so I'm still working more nutrient export in my tank.

yes, not effective enough, it just comes back. Even if i remove all algea, with peroxide scrubs the rocks in salt water afterwords, it just takes a month of it before it returns. And that is even when po4 is around 0.02 and no3 isent highter than 0.5... if i dont feed, my corals starve and die. It almost like the algea is more effective in taking in the nutricen than the corals is, and therefor ethey are starving to death.

i have tryed to lower my lighting schedule in hope, that the corals can better get what they need. light schedule went from 10 hours of light to 6 hours.
