Is this chalice frag bleeching?

Greetings!!!

I just picked up this green eyed chalice yesterday. While checking it out today I noticed around the edge (one of the original cut edges) that the white might extend a little over the cut edge. Seeing this I instantly worried that it was bleaching (this is my first chalice). I took the best pictures that I could and was hoping to see if anyone could tell if this is from the cut and that it should be ok or if it is bleaching and if so, what I should do about it.

Also if you notice in the photo with flash that there is a little point on the edge to the left of the cut that is white possibly showing it's skeleton.

Should I be concerned? If so, what do you recommend?

It looks like the flesh is defending from the cut edge, but hard to tell with pic.

I'm not too sure of what you mean by 'defending' - does that mean the tissue is receding? Healing??

After a few more looks today it seem as if the tissue may be slightly receded back from the edge in one spot...
