If not, has anybody seen anything like it? If so, what is it?

Yes it's a new addition. My experience says it's bleached because it's white. But it has an sps skin and nice blue polyps so I'm confused

Yeah tough to tell if its bleached without seeing it when its healthy, especially when it still has colourful polyp extension. Keep an eye on it, I'd expect it to start morphing colours if the tank is healthy though … don't get attached to the white lol

Bleached corals always have tissue, and often healthy tissue. Corals without that tissue are just dead. Also, it's most certainly bleached. Good luck bringing it back!

Just put it lower in the tank. Maybe even partially in shade.

Some cases target feeding helps too.
