Is this Cyano?

Hey reefers,

I have this dark red / burgundy velvety stuff that is growing on some rocks. There is nothing in my substrate and this stuff doesn't blow off the rocks either.

I'm just wondering if it's Cyano?

Or any ideas to what it might be?

My eyes may be a bit bad. Maybe looks like coralune? I'm not sure what you're reffering to

Sorry the pictures aren't the best. I added some arrows which are worse lol.

I though it might be coraline but I read it's usually light purple. This is more burgundy/ red wine color.

Don't mind the pink / purple aquascape epoxy.

I believe it to be coraline. I have had some that is that burgundy color as well as the purple/pink and a green shade as well.

Take a turkey baster or try and blow or brush it off, if it comes off easy it's cyano, if not, its coraline.

I'm currently having an outbreak of cyano and it doesn't look half as pretty as that. Looks like coraline to me

Yes it is Coraline, coraline will come in a variety of colors, the most common being purple/pink that we are all used to. But what you have is absolutely coraline
