Is this enough light?

wich would be better? 2x175watt mh or 6x54watt t5's on a 90 gal? Planning on keeping some sps.

6 - T5HO's is enough for anything. Just get a good bulb selection

Is this with any t5ho's? My friend gave me a oddysea 4x54watts t5's and a 2x54watts t5(unknown brand). I heard oddysea is not that great.

Different bulbs are different color ranges. some are 10,000 some are 12,000 some are 18,000.
With 6 bulbs you should have plenty of light.
I have just 2 bulbs on a 72 gal:
TWO - T5HO bulbs:
One bulb is a high intensity 18,000k
Other bulb is Blue actinic bulb

i'd go with Mh if possible 90g is a 24" deep tank.

i just bought a new fixture for my 90g, i ended up going with 2 250w mh with 4 t5 actinics,

Get the right color combination of bulbs and the T5's will be plenty...Less heat as well

Odysseas are not a very good unit from what I've heard. I think T5s would be better than the 175w MHs in your case, but you'd really want a better unit. Correct color combination is less of an issue. At a minimum I'd go with a Nova Extreme Pro, but a Tek, Aquactinics or ATI (in that order) would serve you much better.
