Ok I posted this in the other coral forums and am doing all of my research before I njust go ahead and get everything. I was wondering if 2 250watt 14k lights will be enough to properly house clams in a 75 gallon. Thanks so much for any help or advice that you can give me :)

IMO the wattage is good but clams do much better under 10k bulbs.why? they hold there color alot better and the 10k's have the wider spectrum the the zoo in the clam need

thats crazy i hear that clams need more blue

I agree with mbbuna. Most Tridacnids are found in shallow waters. :) Ideal lighing is 5500K - 10K, not to say they won't stay alive with 14K or even 20K.
