Is this for real? (Invincible Coralline)

Let me break the story down like this:
- 4yrs: I ran a flourishing 280gal SPS tank a few years (http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=793592). I tore it down after a massive power outage in dead winter (couldn't even keep it running sufficiently on a generator)
- 1Yr: The LR was put in a tub with circulation for a year while I anguished.
- 3yrs: The tub was shut down and moved outside once I gave in to defeat.
- I drained the tub (it was nasty with rain water, wind blown dirt/pine needles etc..)
- 2yrs: I placed the rock as ornaments in my rock garden (cool shapes). They baked in scorching sun and froze in the winter etc..
- Nov 2016 I decided to start a small reef again (JBJ 45)
- 24hrs: I put some choice pieces in my jetted tub with a muriatic acid solution.
- 72hrs: I Drained, Rinsed and soaked them in a bleach solution for another few days

What emerged was mostly clean, white beige-like rock; cool!.. BUT wait... What are these lil purple and redish specs? Could it be coralline? Ummmm huh?

To support some rockscaping I cracked one open; couldn't believe it.. Plenty of the old coralline bleached white and remained encrusted but somehow, some way; it seems a ton of it made the odysee. Crazy..

I am pretty sure coralline will retain its color when dead, so yes it probably is, but not living.

Maybe different types present differently since there's allot if bleached-white/dead coralline permanently encrusted as well. Guess we'll see if any grows from current spots..
