actually maybee a hammer coral.
I think it's frogspawn. Hammer usually has the elongated hammer shape at the end of each tentacle, wheras frogspawn has circular tips and often splits toward the end of the tentacle...the pic looks like it's doing that.

It was actually sold to me by mistake as a green torch.Im new at this and thought it looked different than the green torch I had seen. I know they would take it back but I think I will just keep it and keep looking for green torch.

LOL, if none of us can tell, how's the poor guy at the LFS supposed to know?
It's some kind of Euphyllia.... probably....maybe a frogtorchaspawn :)
Where it in good health!

Its a Frog. The tips of hammer corals will have a single hammer head shape at the end of each tentacle. A Torch will have one single white ball at the tips of each tentacle. The frogs will have multiply white balls on each tentacle. Like yours is starting to do.

I have a hammer in my tank that had very elongated heads on it when I put it in there but over time they shrunk up and now it looks just like a frogspawn? Anyone else have that happen?

frogs nearly every tentacle has multiple tips and usually many

this one has split tips more then anything.
i have one just like it but different colors. iv seen that one called fine grape coral before
